The Mon Valley YMCA has teamed up with Highmark® to bring you these quality wellness programs.
These programs are free to all Highmark® insurance participants.  

These programs are FREE to those with Highmark Insurance.

Eat Well for Life I & II

Participants will learn how to make better food choices that promote changes that can last a lifetime.
The class reviews a variety of situations including label reading, grocery shopping, and an actual food demonstration. 
Discuss triggers that surround food choices.

Personal Nutrition Coaching

A personalized program designed by a registered dietitian to address  the needs of an individual
seeking nutrition counseling relating to weight management, heart  health or diabetes. 
Interested parties should call the YMCA at 724-483-8077 to be connected to the counselor.
Meetings are scheduled based on participant and counselor availability.

Discover Relaxation I & II

Learn to manage everyday stress through practical relaxation techniques and innovative stress management strategies.  
From coping skills to visualization, to progressive muscle relaxation and humor therapy,
you'll acquire effective tools to deal with stress.
February 24-March 17
Wednesdays in the Lee Supply Room
6:30-8:00PM.

HOPE
Highmark Osteoporosis Prevention Education

Develop stronger bones for a lifetime!  This take-action lifestyle improvement program
focuses on making healthy choices to improve bone health and prevent or manage osteoporosis.
