Babysitting
We now have new babysitting hours. Call 724-483-8077 to make arrangements by 8:00PM the previous evening to ensure a sitter.
- Morning: Monday-Friday 9:00AM-1:00PM
- Evening: Monday-Thursday 5:00- 9:00PM
- Saturday: 8:45-11:00AM
New Babysitting Policy
- Children must be between 18 months and 7 years of age.
- Members over 8 years of age may sign up for the Youth and Teen Center. Information may be obtained in the Business Office.
- Arrangements must be made in advance at the front desk by 8:00PM the previous evening to ensure a sitter.
The YMCA babysitting staff can no longer accommodate walk ins.
- For the safety of the children we will not accept more than 10 children during a time slot.
- We can not accommodate babysitting in our daycare center due to increase enrollment.
- Payment for sitting must be paid at the time of service.
- Per child rate: Member: $1.00 per hour
- Non-Member: $2.00 per hour.
- No-Shows: $5.00
The Mon Valley YMCA reserves the right to cancel babysitting due to illness of the sitter, weather or the unknown.
