FITNESS CLASSES

All classes include a suitable warm-up and end with stretches for the major muscles worked. Instructors: Wendy Crofutt, Rich Evans, Christy Galilei, Peggy Herforth, John Lignelli, Terri Shannon, and Jodie Short.

                            BREATHE

A YOGA class with ChiGong to warm up and oxygenate the muscles facilitating the stretch and with PILATES to strengthen the abdominals and lower back which stabilize the spine through the Yoga postures.

   

       

                        
                      AB STRENGTH

Build support for the spine by strengthening the abs and lower back. Improve balance, agility, coordination and burn more calories by targeting multiple muscle groups.

     

                                 
                   CYCLONE CYCLING
A group cycle class designed to motivate participants to increase Cardio-vascular endurance and burn calories.


                          
                    CARDIO COMBO
Features intervals of low-impact aerobics alternating with step aerobics for an exciting calorie-burning experience.



               MUSCLES-IN-MOTION

Full body strength workout designed to increase muscle density, improve muscle appearance anenhance your metabolism.

                                 
 DOUBLE STEP
A creative cardiovascular workout where each participant uses 2 platforms to increase the intensity and interest. Abdominal strengthening workout included.


                    CARDIO CIRCUIT
Non-Impact aerobic activity altered with strength training.



                           
               TBA (Total Body Action)
A workout designed to train the
cardiovascular system, increase muscle strength and improve balance, coordination and flexibility.

                           
                              STEP

A basic Step workout for everybody designed to burn calories by using the larger muscles of the lower body.





             STEP AND STRENGTH
A workout covering cardiovascular endurance and muscle strengthening utilizing a step bench and resistance
equipment.


MUSCULAR STRENGTH & RANGE OF MOTION
Exercises designed to increase strength, R.O.M. and activity for daily living skills.


 


BABYSITTING
Mon/Wed/Fri 9:30-11:00 AM
Tue/Thur 9:15-11:30 AM
Mon-Thur 6:00-9:00 PM

Children must be 18 months of age and older. Arrangements should be made 24 hours in advance. No show fee $5.00 per child. Must cancel sitting 2 hours in advance.

PER CHILD FEE:
MEMBER: $1 per hour
NONMEMBER: $2 per hour

NO SHOW: $5

 

                                
                           WALKING
Low impact walking-based movements
done to hit music. This indoor walk adds up to 2 1/2-4 miles of walking depending on length of class. Works all muscle groups. The more muscle you use, the more fat you will burn. Class can be done by any age and fitness level. 1-2 pound weights may be added to increase workout.
