We have everything a young person needs to get fit and stay fit!
Wellness Center (Ages
14 +)
Take advantage
of the state-of-the-art equipment here at the Y. We have 36 cardio
machines along with three lines of strength machines plus free weights.
All teens have a two park orientation: A 30 minute classroom and a 45
minute equipment introduction which includes the Strive Smart Strength and
Cardio machines. Appointments for the two park orientation can be
scheduled at the Wellness Center Desk.
Saturday Night Live
(Ages 5-17)
An exciting
night here at the YMCA for youth, teens and families. Swimming, games,
sports, crafts and snacks will keep everyone active and busy. Saturday
Night Live meets the second Saturday of each month from 6:00pm - 9:00pm
throughout the school year.

Group Swim Lessons
(Ages 6months - 14years)
Knowing how to
swim is a lifelong skill and a healthy activity. With YMCA swimming
classes, children learn to be safe around the water and get the great feeling of
accomplishment that comes with learning a new skill. YMCA preschool and
youth swimming classes boast a low teacher to child ratio and plenty of
individual attention. Classes are always taught in a fun, supportive
environment. Classes are on-going throughout the year with evening and

Jump and Wiggle (Ages
3-5)
Join instructor
Jerri DeLattre for forty five minutes of basic movement and balance beam work.
Youngsters develop coordination through games and exercise in a fun and safe
environment. Parents are asked to wait in the lobby area while class is in
session. Class meets Tuesday evenings from 6:00-6:45PM for age 3 and 7:00-
7:45PM for ages 4-5
Karate (Ages 7-12 &
13 +)
Karate is one of
the few activities that helps to develop and condition not only the body, but
also the mind. Get a great aerobic workout while learning real life self
defense as well as discipline, self control, and confidence. Students are
expected to be respectful in and out of class. Gain the self esteem that
comes from learning to defend yourself. In addition to group classes,
private lessons are also available. Group meets Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 5:30pm - 7:00pm for ages 7-12 and from 7:15pm - 8:45pm for ages 13 +
Youth Swim Team (Ages
6-18)
Our youth swim team is always looking for kids who love
to swim! Children should be able to complete one full length of the pool
without stopping. Team practice is Monday - Friday from 5:00pm - 6:30pm.
You attend as often as possible. Our team is great way to make new
friends, stay in shape and learn how rewarding it can be to be a part of a team.

Yoga for Kids!!
(Ages 5-8)
Children have
fun pretending, moving, talking and making noises to transform themselves into
animals. Become a snake (cobra slither), and insect (Spiderman crawl) and
other self-defined creatures. Children develop strong, limber bodies as
well as inner strength through yoga based on empowerment and confidence.
Class meets Wednesdays at 6:30pm-

Cardio Companion
(Ages 8-18)
A one on one exercise program to help youth and teens
get into shape. Just like having your own personal trainer. Let our
Youth Staff get you motivated and on your way to
achieving your fitness goal. Appointments can be scheduled with Youth
Staff in the Youth & Teen Room
Summer Day Camp (Ages
4-6, 7-9 & 10-12)
Calling all
Campers!! Come join us for loads of fun at Camp Adena. Children make
crafts, play games and participate in special activities all focused around a
different theme each week. Campers enjoy swimming, hiking and being just
goofy with out counselors! 4-6 year old camp is from 10:00am - 2:00pm.
7-12 year old camp is from 10:00am - 2:00pm. Camps run for seven weeks
each summer.
